Ferrous ascorbate is a synthetic form of iron and vitamin C which works an antianemic agent.. Folic acid is a vitamin of the B Complex group which helps your body produce and maintain new cells, and also helps prevent changes to DNA that may lead to cancer.
1 Tablet OD (once daily) or as directed by your physician
Per oral (PO)
Ferrous Ascorbate and Folic Acid is used to treat Iron Deficiency Anemia, to improve iron utilization and is also given to pregnant women to prevent spina bifida in an unborn fetus.
GI upset, black stools, abdominal discomfort or pain, bronchospasm may occur.
