Olmesartan is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems.
Common side effects includes back pain, bronchitis, diarrhea, headache, blood in your urine, high blood sugar, high triglycerides, flu-like symptoms, such as fever and body aches, sore throat, runny nose, and sinus infection.
