Ramipril is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. Ramipril is also used to improve survival after a heart attack.
Dizziness, lightheadedness, or tiredness may occur as your body adjusts to the medication. Dry cough may also occur.
