Darolac is a probiotic which contains Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Bifidobacterium longum, Saccharomyces boulardii. It helps to restores useful bacteria which then lessens the symptoms of abdominal pain, bloating and diarrhea. It mainly works by killing and suppressing harmful bacteria in the body. At the same time it minimises the destruction of good bacteria and reduces the excessive secretion of water and electrolytes in the gut.
1 Capsule BID/ BD (two times a day) or as directed by your physician
Per oral (PO)
It is used to treat diarrhea caused due to infections, antibiotics, etc. It is also used to relieve symptoms of digestive disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, stomach ulcers, constipation, indigestion, etc.
Common side effects include dizziness, bloating and stomach discomfort, gastro intestinal infection, difficulty in breathing, gas and rarely fungemia.
