It is an enzyme isolated from bacteria found in silkworms. It is a proteolytic enzyme, meaning it breaks down proteins into smaller components called amino acids. It has an anti-inflammatory and mucolytic agent.
1 Tablet BID/ BD (two times a day) or as directed by your physician
Per oral (PO)
It is is used for painful conditions including back pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, carpel tunnel syndrome, migraine headache, and tension headache.It is also used for conditions that involve pain and swelling , atherosclerosis, breast engorgement, fibrocystic breast disease. Other uses include treatment of diabetes, leg ulcers, asthma, and pus accumulation (empyema).
It may include skin reactions, muscle and joint pain, poor appetite, nausea, stomach pain, cough,blood clotting disturbances.
