Medicine Generic: Ciprofloxacin
This medication is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. Ciprofloxacin belongs to a class of drugs called quinolone antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.
1 Tablet BID/ BD (two times a day) or as directed by your physician
Per oral (PO)
It is used to treat bone and joint infections, intra abdominal infections, certain type of infectious diarrhea, respiratory tract infections, skin infections, typhoid fever, and urinary tract infections, among others.
Nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, lightheadedness, headache, or trouble sleeping may occur.
