Levocetirizine is an antihistamine. It works by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine) that your body makes during an allergic reaction. It is less sedating than older antihistamines.
1 Tablet OD (once daily) or as directed by your physician
Per oral (PO)
It is used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, and sneezing. It is also used to relieve itching and hives. It is also used to treat the symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergies.
Common side effects include sleepiness, dry mouth, cough, vomiting, and diarrhea.
