Vitamin C (also known as ascorbic acid) plays an important role in the body. It is needed to maintain the health of skin, cartilage, teeth, bone, and blood vessels. It is also used to protect your bodys cells from damage. It is known as an antioxidant.
1 Tablet BID/ BD (two times a day) or as directed by your physician

Vitamin C is used for preventing and treating scurvy. It is also most commonly used for preventing and treating the common cold.
Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps/pain, or heartburn may occur. Amounts higher than 2000 mg daily are possibly unsafe and may cause a lot of side effects. These may include kidney stones and severe diarrhea. In people who have had a kidney stone, amounts greater than 1000 mg daily greatly increase the risk of kidney stone recurrence.
