PANTAFAST DSR is a widely trusted prescription capsule manufactured by Arya PharmaLab Pvt. Ltd. in Nepal. It is primarily used to manage conditions related to excess stomach acid and poor digestive motility.
Each capsule features a combination of two active medicines:
Pantoprazole (40 mg): A Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI) that works by lowering the amount of acid produced in your stomach.
Domperidone (30 mg, Sustained Release): A prokinetic agent that accelerates stomach motility, pushing food into the intestines faster and blocking the signals in the brain that cause nausea.
Primary Uses
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Relieves severe heartburn, chest discomfort, and acid regurgitation.
Peptic & Intestinal Ulcers: Helps heal sores in the stomach and food pipe linings by cutting off the acidic environment.Dyspepsia (Indigestion):
Controls upper abdominal bloating, sour burps, and stomach fullness.Nausea and Vomiting: Prevents feeling sick or vomiting caused by acid reflux or delayed stomach emptying.
How to Take It
Timing: It must be taken on an empty stomach, usually 30 to 60 minutes before your breakfast in the morning.
Method: Swallow the capsule whole with water. Do not crush, chew, or break it, as doing so breaks the sustained-release mechanism
Common Side Effects
Most people tolerate the drug well, but some temporary side effects may include:
Dry mouth
Headache or dizziness
Diarrhea or mild stomach pain
